    Love: All Heart

    The U.S. Postal Service has issued a 42-cent Love: All Heart commemorative stamp.

    Illustrator Paul Zwolak, of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, created the design for the stamp, which shows a heart that is transporting its owner to an unseen beloved who will receive the heart as a gift.

    For first-day cancellations, affix stamps to self-addressed envelopes and send them to LOVE: ALL HEART, POSTMASTER, SPECIAL CANCELLATIONS, PO BOX 92282, WASHINGTON, DC 20066-2282. Orders must be postmarked by Aug. 11.

    Hearts

    The U.S. Postal Service reissued the Hearts special stamps, which were previously issued in 2007 with different background colors and de­nom­inations.

    Nancy Stahl, of New York City, based her design on memories of a wide range of objects, including silver charms and old-fashioned garden gates.

    For first-day cancellations, affix stamps to self-addressed en­­velopes and send them to WEDDING HEARTS STAMPS, POSTMASTER, SPE­CIAL CAN­CELLATIONS, PO BOX 92282, WASHINGTON, DC 20066-9998. Orders must be postmarked by Aug. 11.

    Flags of Our Nation

    The U.S. Postal Service has issued 42-cent Flags of Our Nation stamps in 10 designs.

    This new series of stamps will feature the Stars and Stripes, the 50 state flags, five territorial flags, and the District of Columbia flag. Two sets of 10 stamps will be issued each year through 2010, for a total of 60 stamp designs.

    For first-day cancellations, affix stamps to self-addressed envelopes and send them to FLAGS OF OUR NATION, POSTMASTER, SPECIAL CAN­CELLATIONS, PO BOX 92282, WASHINGTON DC, 20066-9998. Orders must be postmarked by Aug. 15.

    Charles and Ray Eames

    The U.S. Postal Service has issued 42-cent Charles and Ray Eames commemorative stamps in 16 designs.

    Honoring the husband-and-wife design team of Charles and Ray Eames, the commemorative sheet of stamps represents the breadth of their body of work, which includes architecture, furniture and film.

    For first-day cancellations, affix stamps to self-addressed envelopes and send them to CHARLES + RAY EAMES STAMPS, POSTMASTER, 1653 7TH STREET, SANTA MONICA, CA 90401-9998. Orders must be postmarked by Aug. 16.

    Olympic Games

    The U.S. Postal Service has issued a 42-cent Olympic Games commemorative stamp.

    With the issuance of the stamp, the Postal Service continues its tradition of honoring the spirit of athleticism and international unity inspired by the Olympic Games. The stamp's release is meant to coincide with the Olympics.

    For first-day cancellations, stamps should be affixed to self-addressed envelopes and sent to USPS, RETAIL, ATTN: FIRST DAY CANCELLATION - OLYMPIC STAMP, 3190 S. 70TH ST., ROOM 509, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19153-9611. Orders must be postmarked by Aug. 20.
